TIPS TO COMBAT WRINKLES
The aging of the skin, with the appearance of wrinkles, spots, and imperfections, especially on the face, is one of the major problems that haunt women from the age of thirty.
The much-advertised treatment
with creams is not enough to give the skin the past appearance. Therefore, one
of the priorities of women is to run for cover and find a solution to
rejuvenate the face. Doctor Ali provides the best
In this regard, we asked the Humanities
Dermatology Unit to provide us with some helpful information to rejuvenate the
skin but without damaging it.
The causes
"The sagging skin of the
face and body is due to alterations in the elastic fibers and collagen,"
explains Professor Monti, "and the main causes are physiological aging,
environmental and internal factors."
Aging: the continuous contraction
of the muscles to mimic facial expression, in the long run, wears out the
elastic and collagen fibers, forming furrows, wrinkles, which can no longer be
eliminated.
Environmental factors: the UV
rays destroy these fibers, creating, in addition to minor wrinkles, even the
spots on the skin. The smog causes premature skin aging, destroys collagen, and
makes the skin dry and brittle.
Internal factors: an incorrect
and unhealthy diet, poor vitamins and minerals, and a sinful lifestyle (stress,
smoking, alcohol, drugs) damage the skin, making it less soft and elastic.
Methods to avoid
More and more women are resorting
to aesthetic medicine treatments to improve their appearance and look younger.
Wrinkles with substances
The techniques used so far are surgery,
chemical peeling, laser, and filling wrinkles with substances called
"fillers." All of these techniques, however, have proved a failure.
Facial reconstructive surgery should be reserved only for special
situations, and treatment of wrinkles and facial blemishes are not among these.
The solid chemical peel, which consists in making acids act to erode the
outermost layer of the skin and stimulate the production of new cells,
initially seemed a good and effective treatment; over time, it was seen that
the positive aesthetic result did not last long and the repeated interventions
even accelerated the aging of the skin.
By causing the collagen fibers to overheat, the laser beam stretches the
skin, making the more superficial wrinkles disappear and reducing the more
marked ones. However, even this experience proved to be negative, as it was
seen that after only two years, the fibers that the heat had contracted relaxed
more than the others, thus worsening the initial situation.
In recent times, other treatments have arisen in which pulses generate
heat in radio frequencies or by pulses of light ( pulsed light ); the result
was similar to that obtained with the laser.
As
regards the "fillers, "it has been seen that the injections:
·
bovine collagen developed immunological
reactions;
·
of hyaluronic acid were absorbed too
quickly;
·
of liquid resins formed hardening or even
scars;
·
Of own fat cells (the so-called
"lipofilling technique") did not lead to any positive results.
The "functional stimulus."
"Since the skin rejuvenation
techniques adopted in the past have had disappointing results and sometimes
even caused irreversible damage," explains Dr. Monti, "other
non-invasive solutions were sought that would give visible and lasting results.
Lately, techniques based on the
so-called 'functional stimulus' have been used, which will replace the
unnatural ones used up to now. An innovative therapy, which consists of
replacing the 'old' skin cells with young stem cells", explains the
professor.
Here are the most established techniques:
The photodynamic therapy, which
consists of eliminating selectively, through a photosensitizer, the old cells
and replacing them with young cells generated from stem;
the needling, through thousands
of micro punctures, stimulates the skin to react and to regenerate;
The micro peeling, which
accelerates the cell renewal process, increasing the speed of desquamation of
the skin;
Photo stimulation, which stimulates the skin
and hair cells through light pulses.
BEAUTY TREATMENT WITH HYALURONIC ACID
Hyaluronic acid is used to smooth
fine lines and wrinkles (crow's feet, smoker's wrinkles, smile lines, and
forehead wrinkles), to achieve fuller lips, shape facial contours, increase
cheekbones and chin, as well as to rejuvenate the skin of the hands, décolleté,
face and neck.
Restylane is the world leader in
producing hyaluronic acid fillers used for aesthetic medicine; its products are
acrostic and with minimal risk of allergic reactions or hypersensitivity.
The treatments with fillers can
be customized according to individual needs, and the results are immediate. The
soft and transparent gel based on hyaluronic acid contained in the stuffing is
injected into the skin in small doses to restore the facial volumes and improve
the skin structure. Restylane does not affect facial expressions and facial
expressions in any way, and its results are long-lasting, from 12 to 18 months
with a single touch-up session, although they are not permanent. Thus, the use
of Restylane fillers offers the freedom to choose whether to repeat the
treatment to maintain the effect over time.
THE USE OF VISTABEL IN AESTHETIC MEDICINE
In recent years, Vistabel has
been used in medicine to treat various diseases, such as migraines, asthma,
obesity, and other possible indications, such as reduced sweating.
Its use has instead been widely
tested for many years in aesthetic medicine for the treatment of frontal and
periocular expression lines.
A small diluted dose contained in the fillers is injected into the areas to be treated and temporarily blocks the action of the muscles, stretching the skin. Doctor Ali provides the best holistic medicine center in the USA. The overall effect is that of a more relaxed and younger face. The best results are achieved in the upper part of the face by decreasing or completely removing wrinkles around the eyes, between the eyelashes, and on the forehead.
